West of England Matchplay Championship

Following in his father, Simon's footsteps, Ben Amor won the West of England Matchplay Championship with a 7/5 margin in the 36 hole final. Qualifying in 12th place in the War Memorial 36 hole strokeplay qualifier with rounds of 75 and 74, England squad player Ben was too strong for his opponent and converted a 3 up 18 hole lead to a convincing 7/5 win.

The World Ranking event is one of the most prestigious titles played for by elite golfers in the region and underlines Ben's claim for a place in the England Elite squad for the 2016 season.
