One of the main objectives of all County Golf organisations is the maintenance of the talent pathway that takes players from their Clubs to County, region and then on to international competition.
Wiltshire Golf is a unified body and the County believe that if you are good enough, you are old enough!
We run two Development squads for girls of any age who are new to the game and who are identified by their Clubs as having the potential to develop into County Golfers. Our lower handicap players qualify for the Girl’s squad who compete in the South West Championships and the Arlesford Trophy. We have a selection policy for the Girl’s team that can be obtained from our Junior Organisers.
All 3 of our squads meet up regularly for coaching and teambuilding exercises. If you have any questions about girls golf, or think you have a budding County Golfer in your family, please drop us a line to find out more.
